【摘要】:ThispartofISO8178specifiesthemeasurementproceduresandtestcyclesfortheevaluationofsmokeemissionsfromcompressionignitionenginesonthetestbed.Fortransientsmoketestcycles,smoketestingisconductedusingsmokemeterswhichoperateonthelightextinctionprinciple.ThepurposeofthispartofISO8178istodefinethesmoketestcyclesandthemethodsusedtomeasureandanalysesmoke.SpecificationsformeasurementofsmokeusingthelightextinctionprinciplecanbefoundinISO11614.Thetestproceduresandmeasurementtechniquesdescribedinclauses1to11ofthispartofISO8178areapplicabletoreciprocatinginternalcombustion(RIC)enginesingeneral.However,anengineapplicationcanonlybeevaluatedusingthispartofISO8178oncetheappropriatetestcyclehasbeendeveloped.AnnexesAandBtothispartofISO8178eachcontainatestcyclethatisrelevantonlyforthosespecificapplicationslistedintheScopeofthatannex.Wherepossible,thesmoketestcycledescribedintheannexutilizestheengineandmachinecategoriesdevelopedinpart4ofISO8178.Forcertaincategoriesofnon-roadengines"atsite"ratherthan"testbed"smoketestproceduresmayprovetobenecessary.Forenginesusedinmachinerycoveredbyadditionalrequirements(e.g.occupationalhealthandsafetyregulations),additionaltestconditionsandspecialevaluationmethodsmayapply.
