【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsprovideameansfordeterminingthemodulusofruptureandthemodulusofelasticity,whichmayberequiredinproductspecifications.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverdeterminationofthemodulusofruptureandthemodulusofelasticityoffiredceramicwhitewaresbodies,formedbyanyfabricationmethod,andareapplicabletobothglazedandunglazedtestspecimens.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Themetricequivalentsofinch-poundunitsmaybeapproximate.1.3Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
